This is Sensei Dan! Just wanted to give a brief update for those who remember me and a cool bit of info for those who don't. Since teaching at USA Karate, I have moved to Los Angeles and begun working on a TV show called Tapout. On the show, we travel to the best dojos in the country looking for up and coming mixed martial artists who hope to one day make their debut in the UFC. We have worked with the likes of Chuck Liddell, BJ Penn and Greg Jackson. It's quite an experience being paid to go to places like Boston, Chicago, New Mexico, Florida and Hawaii to name a few. Not only do we get to do amazing things and make a great tv show, but we get to see top martial artists training and fighting in big time events. I started at the bottom of the ladder on this show but have recently been promoted to the audio department and I'm definitely loving it. I was happy to be able to invite Shihan Tony to a fight in Boston and what a great night, being able to see my instructor again! I am adding some photos from a fight in Visalia, California where our Tapout sponsored fighter, Greg McIntyre, defeated his opponent, Richard Chavez, by technical knock out.
