Sensei Rick started training in September 2000
in Kenpo/Jiu-Jitsu/Karate. He earned his 1st Degree Black Belt
under Shihan Tony Abatecola in June of 2004.
He entered and passed the Instructor Training
program in December 2004. As an instructor he is always striving to creative
new methods of teaching martial arts concepts to children and adults. He
is currently ranked as a 2nd Degree Black Belt.
Sensei Rick Graduated from Davies Vocational High School in 1990. He studied in the field of Graphic Arts and won several awards. He continued his education and went on to college part-time where he studied Law Enforcement at the Community College of Rhode Island in Lincoln and graduated with an Associates Degree in 2000. He holds a certificate on Interviewing and Interrogation techniques and now currently works at a local retail company as a District Asset Protection Manager.
