Sensei Andy Jones
Instructor

Sensei Andy began training in July 2004 in Kenpo/Jiu-Jitsu/Karate after taking a few years off from training in Tae Kwon Do.  He earned his 1st Degree Black Belt under Shihan Tony Abatecola in June of 2007 and completed our Instructor Training program in December of 2007.  As an instructor, he is always striving to provide a motivating class that strengthens cardio endurance and helps students work out problem areas in their martial arts material. Sensei Andy is currently working on his Muay Thai instructor certification through Hanshi Larry Sullivan.

Sensei Andy is a graduate of Davies Vocational Technical High School class of 1991 and New England Institute of Technology in 2003.  He has Associates Degree in Computer Networking and Service and is currently employed as a Home Service Technician by Cox Communications. Sensei Andy has also coached youth baseball at the Boys and Girls Club of Pawtucket as well as the Darlington National Little League.

Sensei Andy teaches our Monday noon adult class and our Monday Tiny Tigers, beginner kids, and beginner adult classes. He is married with three children; all of whom study here at USA Karate as well.
